Job Description

Aetna, part of CVS Health, is hiring for a remote Care Management Associate Engagement Hub position supporting members enrolled in Medicaid programs. This opportunity may suit candidates interested in healthcare support, customer service, and helping people understand their available healthcare services.

The role focuses on phone communication with members. Associates help explain care management programs, answer questions, research information, and connect members with appropriate care teams. The position also involves documenting interactions, managing enquiries, and helping resolve issues related to accessing healthcare services.

The listed pay range is $18.50 to $42.35 per hour. Actual compensation may vary depending on qualifications, relevant experience, education, and location. The position is described as full-time, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time, for approximately 40 hours per week.

Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required according to the provided role information. Customer service experience from a call center, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment may provide relevant transferable skills. A college degree is not required; the stated minimum education is a high school diploma or GED.

This is a phone-based role rather than a non-phone position. Candidates should be comfortable speaking with people, explaining information clearly, maintaining accurate records, and handling multiple enquiries professionally.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Comfort with inbound and outbound phone communication
  • Good organization, documentation, and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to explain information clearly and handle member enquiries professionally
  • Healthcare experience is preferred but not required in the supplied role information
  • Previous call center, administrative, patient support, or customer service experience may be beneficial

Relevant experience may include retail customer service, hospitality, call center support, medical office administration, patient services, medical billing, healthcare navigation, or other roles involving customer communication and accurate recordkeeping.

  • Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week

  • Potential eligibility for bonus, commission, or other short-term incentive programs, subject to the employer's terms
  • Compensation may depend on experience, qualifications, education, and location
